UTA Signs ‘Doll & Em’ Star Dolly Wells
British actress-writer Dolly Wells, co-creator and star of HBO/BSkyB comedy series Doll & Em, has signed with UTA. This marks Wells’ first U.S. agency representation. In addition to co-creating, co-writing and starring with Emily Mortimer in female buddy comedy Doll & Em, Wells is a regular on Starz’s upcoming comedy series Blunt Talk, co-starring opposite Patrick Stewart and Jackie Weaver. On the feature side, Wells will next appear alongside Lily James, Matt Smith and Jack Huston in Pride And Prejudice And Zombies. Wells, whose credits also include Bridget Jones’s Diary, continues to be repped by Anonymous Content and Independent Talent Group.
