Vince Vaughn Pleads Down to Reckless Driving in DUI Case
Vince Vaughn was able to escape DUI charges after pleading down to a lesser charge of reckless driving.
According to court records, the “Couples Retreat” star plead no contest to wet reckless driving … which is basically a downgraded DUI charge.
Getting hit with a “wet reckless” charge is a big win for Vaughn, who was facing serious charges after his arrest last June in Manhattan Beach.
At the time, Vaughn was stopped at a DUI checkpoint and became combative with officers when asked to get out of his car for a sobriety check.
As part of his downgraded charge, Vaughn will have to pay fines and be on probation for 3-years.
Case dismissed.
