The Walking Dead: Dead City follows Maggie and Negan (played by franchise vets Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan) in a post-apocalyptic Manhattan, which was long ago cut off from the mainland. The crumbling city is filled with the dead and denizens who have made New York City their own world full of anarchy, danger, beauty and terror.
In Season 2, in the growing war for control of Manhattan, “Maggie and Negan find themselves trapped on opposite sides,” the official synopsis tells us. “As their paths intertwine, they come to see that the way out for both is more complicated and harrowing than they ever imagined.”
The Season 2 cast also includes Gaius Charles, ?eljko Ivanek, Mahina Anne Marie Napoleon, Lisa Emery, Logan Kim, Dascha Polanco and Kim Coates, amongst others.
Eli Jorné, a writer and co-executive producer on The Walking Dead for multiple seasons, serves as showrunner on Dead City and executive-produces Cohan, Morgan, franchise overlord Scott M. Gimple, Brian Bockrath, Michael Satrazemis and Colin Walsh.
