‘You want me to collapse?’ Taylor Swift fans go insane over surprise double album ‘The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology’

Taylor Swift has sent her die-hard fans into a frenzy after announcing her new album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” is a double album.
The 14-time Grammy winner released her 11th studio album on Friday — but just as Swifties got their fix of her melancholic tracks, the singer revealed even more songs as part of the project in the middle of the night.
Titled “The Anthology,” Swift’s late-night surprise, announced at 2 a.m., includes 15 bonus tracks, bringing the total song count to a whopping 31.
“It’s a 2am surprise: The Tortured Poets Department is a secret DOUBLE album.
I’d written so much tortured poetry in the past 2 years and wanted to share it all with you, so here’s the second installment of TTPD: The Anthology. 15 extra songs. And now the story isn’t mine anymore… it’s all yours.
” Swift wrote on Instagram.
Naturally, the news saw shocked fans flock to social media to share their collective excitement.
“WHAT DO YOU MEAN ITS A DOUBLE ALBUM WITH 15 EXTRA SONGS?! TAYLOR SWIFT THE WOMAN THAT YOU ARE #TSTTPD,” one fan raved on X.
Another wrote, “BARELY GETTING ADJUSTED TO TTPD AND TAYLOR SWIFT ANNOUNCES A SECRET DOUBLE ALBUM LIKE YOU WANT ME TO COLLAPSE ??? HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO GO ABOUT OUR NORMAL LIVES HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT ABOUT THAT ??”
“Who needs caffeine when you have taylor swift double album drops,” a third wrote, before another added, “The human brain cannot fully process a taylor swift double album release I don’t think.”
“THE DOUBLE ALBUM THEORY WAS REAL WHAT EVEN TAYLOR SWIFT YOU INSANE WOMAN,” another Swiftie wrote.
Another added, “Taylor Swift casually dropping a double album at 2am is insane.
Swift initially unveiled her 16-song album at midnight, including collaborations with Post Malone and Florence Welch on two tracks.
There are also four bonus tracks, “The Manuscript,” “The Bolter,” “The Albatross,” and “The Black Dog” that are featured on various vinyl versions of the album.
The four tracks, as well as 11 new songs, are included in “The Anthology.”
