How To Watch the 2024 Emmy Awards & Red Carpet Live

If you’re anything like us, you can barely wait until the 76th Emmys Awards take place today, on Sunday, Sept. 15. After all, in addition to seeing our favorite stars from The Bear, Hacks, Abbott Elementary, The Morning Show, Only Murders In The Building, and more, in the running for major awards, Schitt’s Creek‘s iconic father-son duo Eugene and Dan Levy will be taking the stage to host the award for the very first time.

“My biggest obstacle was fear,” Dan recently admitted about the hosting gig to Good Morning America. “And I feel like if fear is your biggest obstacle, you have to do it.”

Eugene couldn’t agree more. “There was electricity that was kinda drawing us into it, right, I mean, the challenge of it,” he said. “The challenge is not humiliating yourself on national television in front of millions and millions of people,” Dan then quipped.

As for what to expect of the hosting duo, who will be making history as the first father-son duo to ever host the awards, they’ll surely bring a balance of heart and humor. “I think our approach for this is how we approach everything we do which is heart and kindness while at the same time not losing the edge of what people come to expect from a host,” Dan said, with his father adding, “We’ve gotta be funny.”
