Watch Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard try (and fail) to pronounce ridiculously hard dinosaur names
Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard aren’t dinosaur experts — they just play them on the screen.
Still, the stars of 2015’s megahit Jurassic World and its new sequel, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, clearly have more dino knowledge than most of us, maybe because they’re constantly being quizzed on the creatures (or, you know, being asked to draw them) as they do the promotional rounds for the franchise.
One of the most difficult things about nailing down dinos is learning how to pronounce their multisyllabic scientific names, so Yahoo Entertainment tested the pair recently on a handful of tougher dinosaur types — and one we just made up (watch above).
They started easy. Everyone knows how to say “Triceratops”:
They got progressively tougher:
The test concluded with a rare, mythical breed that to this point has not appeared in the series. But there’s always Jurassic World III:
