With Tennessee winning 45 to 24, the game drew 156,990 people to Bristol Motor Speedway, which is sometimes jokingly referred to as the “stadium on steroids.” The crowd total broke the previous NCAA record of 115,109 who attended a Michigan vs. Notre Dame game at Michigan Stadium in 2013, the Associated Press reports.
