Watch Triumph the Insult Comic Dog Roast Trump Supporters at MSG Rally
On the latest episode of The Daily Show, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog donned his best MAGA gear and stopped by Donald Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden.
“I didn’t think it was possible to have more white people here than a Rangers game,” the canine puppet says in the clip, revealing the crowd of Trump fans outside the venue. “The last time Donald Trump had this many New Yorkers in the palm of his hand he was doing it to impress Jeffrey Epstein.”

Triumph then goes around meeting Trump supporters and insulting them to their faces. To one woman, who proclaims her love of Trump, he acknowledges that Kamala Harris still has to get past Trump. “Which for a woman is very hard to do without pepper spray,” he quips. He tells another supporter, “This is nothing like a Nazi rally. The Nazis were in shape, first of all. They took care of themselves unlike this guy over here, right?”
In response to concerns about migrants invading America, Triumph replies, “Did you know just one illegal immigrant caused 6,000 people to lose their jobs at Twitter?” Triumph also debuted his own mech, including Trump condoms. When he begins to lose the crowd, Triumph puts on a insurrectionist costume and sings a song about liberal tears. “Liberal tears, liberal tears/I won’t have Medicare in two years,” he croons. “My candidate’s lyin’/the planet is dyin’/but liberals are cryin’.”
Trump’s rally at MSG, which attracted 19,500 people, has continued to draw criticism. During the event, comedian Tony Hinchcliffe described Latinos as mindless breeders and referred to Puerto Rico as a “floating island of garbage.” The speech led the Trump campaign to issue a statement distancing itself from the comments. “This joke does not reflect the views of President Trump or the campaign,” Trump senior adviser Danielle Alvarez told NBC News.
