The Way Taylor Swift ‘Really Won’ Travis Kelce Over During Her First-Ever Chiefs Game

Travis Kelce is offering some rare details about the first time Taylor Swift ever came to watch him play with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The tight end sat down to chat with Will Compton and Taylor Lewan, hosts of Bussin' With the Boys', on the most recent episode of their podcast, where he revealed the sweet way the singer surprised him when she arrived to watch them take on the Chicago Bears, and how it quickly "really won" him over.

He detailed the plans he put in place to try to afford her privacy that day, telling her ahead of time, 'Hey, yeah, so I can probably set you up with everything.'" But, instead, "she just walked right through the front door."

"There's no going down, [staying hidden], talking to security and making sure she gets to her seat," he recalled. "She was just like, 'I just want to be around the family and friends and experience this with everybody.'"

It was a move that racked up "[crazy] points" with Kelce. "I was like, damn, she's in the madness, man. She wants to be a part of it, she wants to support me and do things like that," he realized at the time. "I was like, man, she really won me over with that one."

Kelce, of course, returns the favor in kind, jet-setting across the world to join her at her own stadium-filling shows wherever possible. In fact, this past weekend in London, he attended all three nights, shocking fans in attendance at the third performance when he joined Swift and two of her dancers on stage for the interlude between "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived" and "I Can Do it With a Broken Heart."

"The concerts are electric," Kelce told his hosts—a phrase he prefers when it comes to describing the energy of his girlfriend and her fanbase each night. "...[she's] in her element, killing it on stage. I love the show, man; she's got bangers."
