In the clip directed by the Summit Collective, Well$ and Farrar give us a rare tour of their respective neighborhoods in Charlotte, from their family’s home to their local graveyard. Although Charlotte and New Orleans are two very different places, Wells and Farrar honor their favorite rapper by extracting the spirit of Juvie and his hometown, NOLA’s infamous the Magnolia projects, and spreading it throughout uncharted areas of their hood.
“’98 Juvie (Remix)” serves as the first single from the Immaculate Taste artist’s forthcoming mixtape The Way I’m Living Makes My Mom Nervous, which is the follow-up to his 2014 project MTSYD: The Revenge of the African Booty Scratcher. Look out for TWILMMMN coming later this summer.
