Wendy Williams Spotted Without Her Wedding Ring Just Weeks After Denying Marriage Issues
Just weeks after Wendy Williams denied having marital issues with husband Kevin Hunter, she was missing a key piece of jewelry: her wedding ring.
As the Wendy Williams Show host was leaving her show’s studios in New York City this week, she was photographed without a ring on her left hand.
Sporting an oversized black coat and white sneakers, Williams, 54, was captured running her ringless hand through her blonde locks as she walked down a sidewalk with a show staff member beside her.
On Wednesday, Williams and Hunter were seen together in New York City, where she was wearing her ring, according to a photo obtained by E! News.
For their outing, Williams wore a leopard print jacket, black capri pants and white flats, which she accessorized with a yellow purse and her wedding ring. Hunter opted for hues of green, wearing green pants, a camouflage-print shirt and a green and blue jacket, which he paired with black sneakers and a blue and red beanie.
Their time out in the Big Apple came days after she was reportedly hospitalized.

Williams was found drunk after checking herself out of the sober living house on Monday and was taken to a hospital to sober up, according to the Daily Mail.
The outlet reported that at the hospital, Williams was given a banana bag, which is a bag of IV fluids used as a treatment for vitamin and electrolyte deficiencies in patients with chronic alcohol use.
The bag often contains thiamine, folic acid, magnesium and sulfate.
A representative for Williams did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
Williams had been absent from her eponymous daytime talk program from January until March 4, attributing the hiatus to a fractured shoulder and her battle with a Grave’s disease, an autoimmune disease that affects the thyroid.
On her March 4 show, Williams addressed rumors that have been swirling about her marriage — and proudly said at the time that she was still wearing her diamond sparkler.

“I want to shout-out to my husband. I’m still wearing my ring,” she said. “Believe me you, when you’ve been with somebody for 28 years, married for 25 years … we know each other. He’s my best friend, he’s my lover. … I know what you’ve been seeing .. but hunty, let me show you who I fell in love with and who he fell in love with.”
A decades-old photo of the couple popped onto the screen, and the crowd went wild.
“I’m still very much in love with my husband and anyone who’s been married … you know.”
“Marriages have ebbs and flows, marriage isn’t easy. And don’t ask me about mine until you see this gone,” she added, gesturing to her wedding ring. “And it ain’t going anywhere, not in this lifetime.”
Last week, Williams revealed on-air that she had quietly been focusing on her sobriety.
“I have been living in a sober house. … You know I’ve had a struggle with cocaine in the past,” she said on The Wendy Williams Show. “I never went to a place to get treatment … there are people in your family, it might be you … I want you to know more of the story.”

She added that her husband was the only person who knew she was seeking treatment.
“Only Kevin knows about this. Not my parents, nobody. Nobody knew because I look so glamorous out here,” she said. “I am driven by my 24-hour sober coach back to a home that I live in the tri-state with a bunch of smelly boys who have become my family.”
While it has long been rumored that Hunter has had a decade-long affair with a massage therapist, Williams brushed off rumors in September 2017.
“You can believe what you want,” she said on her show while holding up her wedding ring. “I stand by my guy.”
Williams and Hunter (who was reportedly born in Ontario, Canada) met at a skating rink in 1994 and married three years later. The pair later welcomed their son, Kevin Jr., in 2000.
