America's Got Talent Night 2 Results Show Recap
America’s Got Talent’s live results night kicked off with Terry Crews introducing a recap of Tuesday night’s performance.
After chatting with Dee Dee, Terry began disclosing the results. First up, he called aerial act Kelsey Jane and the singing brother and sister act The Reklaws. It was Kelsey Jane moving into the Top 5.
The second reveal was musician Maya Neelakantan and singing group Menudo. The second act to make the Top 5 was Maya Neelakantan, who got a little help from Metallica, who posted her performance of its song on Tuesday night.
The third group called to the stage was Japanese dance troupe Sabrina and 9-year-old singer Journeyy. The act that made it through was Journeyy.
The reveals continued with Terry calling up Jelly Boy the Clown and comedian Learnmore Jonasi, who is Terry’s Golden Buzzer. The fourth spot in the Top 5 went to Learnmore.
The final two acts vying for that fifth spot were magician Sam Huang and singer Reid Wilson, who is Howie’s Golden Buzzer. The last spot went to Reid Wilson.
AGT took an entertainment break for two-time GRAMMY Award winner Lauren Daigle and AGT: Fantasy League finalist Loren Allred to team up for a live performance of “Thank God I Do.”
Then Terry called the Top 5 acts to the stage: Journeyy, Kelsey Jane, Learnmore, Maya Neelakantan, and Reid Wilson.
The first act going into the semifinals was Reid Wilson.
“When I pressed the Golden Buzzer, I felt it,” Howie told Reid. “We’re watching the blossoming of a new career.”
The next act going into the semifinals was Kelsey Jane.
The final act headed to the semifinals was Learnmore Jonasi.
"I have been here for 15 years," Howie said. "I have been waiting for a comedian to take it all. You have what it takes. You are amazing."
They will join Alex Sampson, Ashes & Arrows, Richard Goodall, Roni Sagi & Rhythm, Sky Elements and Young-Min in the semifinals.
