Who Went Home Tonight on 'Bachelorette' Jenn’s ‘Men Tell All’ Special?
After a dramatic cliffhanger ending of Monday night's fantasy suites episode of The Bachelorette, fans were waiting with bated breath to find out what happened after Devin knocked on Jenn Tran's door.
Devin had had a meltdown and told host Jesse Palmer he was “withering away” as he didn’t know if she loved him back.
The answers came on Tuesday night during The Bachelorette’s traditional Men Tell All special when Jenn sent home one of her final three suitors in the Hawaii rose ceremony.
What happened between Jenn and Devin in The Bachelorette Men Tell All episode?
First, cameras went back to Hawaii to show the pair having a teary talk in her hotel room.
“I’m just in a weird head space…I’m doubting where your head’s at,” Devin told Jenn. “I love you. I’ve gone through a lot to be here.”
Jenn, crying, said, “I’m not as good with my words as you are.”
She told cameras she wanted Devin to feel chosen, but didn’t know how to be in a healthy relationship.
Finally, Jenn told him, “Devin, I do love you, you freaking idiot!”
He replied, “I love you, Jenn!”
The Men Tell All audience was delighted.

Before the rose ceremony, Jonathon regretted that he hadn’t declared his love sooner, and hoped it wasn’t too late.
His fears were justified, as Jenn gave roses to Devin and Marcus, meaning Jonathon was eliminated.
Jonathon told Jenn “being a slow burn was my fault…I took too long to realize how incredible you are…you were perfect for me and I wasn’t perfect for you.”
Jenn said, “Thank you for everything,” and hugged him as he left in the van.
Jonathon cried and said, “I’m mad at myself…I feel like the biggest idiot in the world.”
What happened when Sam M. was in the hot seat?
Jenn eliminated Sam M. in TK week because he could tell Jenn he loved her but couldn't explain what it was about her that he loved.
Sam M. told Jesse it was tough watching the show back and seeing he couldn’t define how he felt. Although he “100 percent” was in love with Jenn, “I fell extremely short.”
Sam M. shrugged as the other men criticized him, “Everybody has a different way of loving.”
The hunk said when he’d told Jenn he was expecting Daisy Kent or Maria Georgas from Joey Graziadei’s Bachelor season, that wasn’t an insult. Sam M. claimed all the guys had expected a different Bachelorette!
Where will we see Jonathon next in the Bachelor-verse?
Jonathon told Jesse on The Men Tell All that he had “missed out on something incredible” with Jenn. “There wasn’t a dull moment” between them.
Then Jesse noted, “There’s a certain beach that’s going to be opening next summer,” referring to Bachelor in Paradise.
The crowd roared, and Jonathon accepted the invitation!
“I’ll see you there,” he smiled about doing BIP, which will be coming back for its 10th season.
Then, after Hakeem was confronted by the world’s largest spider, Jesse invited him to Bachelor in Paradise and he said yes, joining Jonathon on the spinoff show.
Grant gives a sneak peek into the next Bachelor season
Grant was named as the next male lead of the Bachelor franchise after his elimination in episode 6 of Jenn's season. He returned for the Men Tell All episode and gave viewers a peek into what he's looking for in his future wife—and how he's prepping to woo the ladies.
Jesse told him that more than 10,000 women had applied to be on his upcoming Bachelor season.
As for how he will attract the ladies, he said his pre-Bachelor prep would include doing “100 push-ups a day.”
What he's looking for? Grant said “a kind soul,” who would treat others well.
Jenn told Grant he would be an amazing Bachelor: “No one deserves it more than you.”
Who did attack when she was in the hot seat on The Bachelorette Men Tell All?
Looking gorgeous in a low-cut green gown, Jenn said she felt nostalgic seeing her castoff guys.
She told Jonathon he brought a smile into every room. She was happy she’d been Sam N.’s first girlfriend and chided Thomas N. for his feud with Devin.
But she saved her biggest criticism for Sam M., mocking him by using his show tag line. “I’m going to keep the main thing the main thing,” she said, then slammed how he’d disrespected everyone.
“Everything revolved around you,” Jenn said.
She said she was also annoyed that after he was eliminated, Sam M. had friends and family defend him online. He decided “to blame it on the producers, the edit,” for how he looked.
“I want you to be better than this,” she said. Unless Sam M. changes, “I feel very sorry for who you end up with.”
Sam M. pledged to change, and Jenn said she hoped he meant that.
A preview of next week’s emotional finale followed, with Jesse reminding viewers it will not air on Monday but on Tuesday, Sept. 3, following Labor Day.
