Here’s Why Luna Might Get Away With Murder On Bold and the Beautiful

Luna hasn't been very good, but that's okay.
Luna hasn't been very good, but that's okay.

Well, Luna confessed to murder and kidnapped Steffy on The Bold and the Beautiful. Surely that’s it for her, now, right? Maybe…but if we know anything about soaps, it’s that never say never.

Murder She Wrote

Luna (Lisa Yamada) seems to have killed Tom (Clint Howard) and Hollis (Hollis W. Chambers). She may have wanted to frame Poppy (Romy Park) for not telling her who her father was.

Or, perhaps Luna is just crazy. She kissed Bill (Don Diamont — who spoke with us) right after discovering he wasn’t her father. That doesn’t seem like the move of a healthy, well-adjusted woman.

It seems almost inevitable, especially now that she’s captured Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), that Luna will be carted off to jail soon. That would be such a shame because the character has been an interesting addition to the soap, even with this unexpected twist of her being a murderer.

Rehabilitation

We see Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) walking around on the soap, and she has a whole laundry list of murders and evil things she’s done. If Sheila can be rehabilitated (mostly), then it seems like Luna could be too. Stranger things have happened.

We sure hope Luna somehow manages to stick around Los Angeles. Her portrayer, Lisa Yamada, is killing it in these scenes. We’ve enjoyed seeing her on the show, and we’d like to see what else she can do. We know it would take a lot, but perhaps Luna could come out of this corner she’s been written into.
