'The Wiggles' singer Greg Page, hospitalized after collapse during bushfire relief concert

Founding member and lead singer of "The Wiggles," Greg Page, was hospitalized after suffering cardiac arrest onstage on Friday.

The Australian children's music group, which originated in 1991, was performing in a bushfire relief concert when Page collapsed. The show, which featured the original Wiggles, who had not performed together for years, was sold out, according to CNN.

"The Wiggles" kept fans updated on Page and what happened during the concert through posts on Twitter.

They shared that at the end of the show, there was a "medical incident off stage involving Greg Page." Medics were called and he was taken to the hospital. They promised to provide information as it became available.

"As has been reported, our friend Greg Page suffered a cardiac arrest at the end of the bushfire relief performance and was taken to hospital," they said in another tweet. "He has had a procedure and is now recovering in hospital. We appreciate your kind messages and concern."

Fans replied with well-wishes, one even shared a photo of Page with their son at a concert from eight years prior.

The group visited Page in the hospital and shared a photo of the "Yellow Wiggle," in a hospital bed.

"We’ve visited Greg this morning & he wanted to thank everyone for their well wishes. He’s so grateful for the messages of love & support from? around the world," they wrote in the tweet.

Page's main concern was that the show must go on. Their tweet included a call for action, for fans to continue to help raise "much needed funds" for the bushfires.

"Let's do it for Greg," they wrote.
