Gerry Turner, a 71-year-old retired restaurateur and father of two from Indiana, is looking for love on Season 1 of "The Golden Bachelor." Turner takes the title of oldest bachelor from Byron Velvick, who had the lead role at the age of 40 in Season 6 of “The Bachelor.”
The end of the season is in sight for Turner as he heads to Costa Rica for Fantasy Suites with two women.
So the big question is who will Turner choose to marry? Naturally, social media users have thoughts.

Who are the final three on “The Golden Bachelor”?
Before a heartbreaking elimination on Thursday, there were three women still in the running for Turner’s heart: Faith Martin, Theresa Nist and Leslie Fhima.

Who wins the “Golden Bachelor”?
There are quite a few theories as to who walks hand-in-hand into the sunset with Turner.
One fan on Reddit claimed that it is easy to tell who wins just based on looking through the final three women’s Instagram accounts.
The Reddit user @leagaleagle3155 already predicted that Martin would be out of the season based on her not liking comments about Turner and her being a perfect match, and for mentioning having lunch with young, nice and beautiful men.
Next, the user looked at Fhima’s posts from Oct. 20 on and noticed that most comments she interacted with had more to do with Fhima herself than her relationship with Turner.
Lastly, the user looked at Nist’s posts from Oct. 24 and noticed that she was the most active and engaging on social media out of all three women. She also heavily likes comments relating to her and Turner, whether about their chemistry or their future together.
One comment that Nist liked from a post on Tuesday, Nov. 7 that stood out was, “Well we know you won so a early congratulations.”
Does Gerry get engaged?
The Reddit user also believes that Nist will get the final rose but there will not be an engagement. This is based on a comment from Nist’s Instagram post on Oct. 30 that she liked which said, “Rumor is he didn’t pick anyone, or did but no engagement.”
Does “Golden Bachelor” pick Leslie?
According to the Redditor's theory, Leslie Fhima will not be picked based on her lack of enthusiasm and interaction with comments about Turner and her relationship.
“Could Leslie be liking comments for validation after not getting the final rose,” the Reddit user said in the post. “Maybe. Time will tell.”
However, some fans believe that in the background of a clip shared on Fhima’s Instagram on Sept. 24 were comments that said, “Ummm did I hear a tiny Gerry laugh from behind the camera??? ?? love this song, so does my daughter!”
The Fantasy Suites episode will air on Nov. 16 and the series finale will premiere on Nov. 30, when all will be revealed.
Who was Gerry Turner's wife?
Turner’s love life before "The Golden Bachelor" included his high school sweetheart Toni, whom he married in 1974. They were married for 43 years and had two daughters, Angie and Jenny, and eventually two granddaughters, Charlee and Payton.
Toni died of an illness in 2017 and after six years, with the support of his family, Turner joined the show looking to find another chance at love, according to a news release.
