Kelley, who is the younger of Judd’s two children, has been sentenced to eight years in prison for violating probation stemming from drug charges, Yahoo Entertainment confirmed.

An inmate search of the West Tennessee State Penitentiary revealed that the country singer’s daughter is currently incarcerated and her sentence is scheduled to end on Aug. 10, 2025. However, she is eligible for parole on Feb. 4, 2019.

Last year, Kelley pleaded guilty to the manufacture, delivery, sale, and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine in Williamson County, Tenn., near Nashville. She was also charged with manufacturing and delivering meth in nearby Maury County but pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of possession of meth. She was to serve time on probation and was ordered to spend 180 days at an in-house rehab. Radar Online reports that Kelley was terminated from the recovery program, so a warrant for probation violation was issued and served.

Kelley’s legal woes have been well-documented in recent years. She was first arrested in a Walgreens parking lot in Nashville in 2015 and charged with promotion of meth manufacture. She pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of possessing meth. Later, she was arrested in Alabama for being a “fugitive from justice,” and her probation was revoked.

Judd, 54, has two children from her first marriage to Arch Kelley III: son Elijah, 23, and Grace Pauline Kelley. The couple divorced in 1998 after two years of marriage. The singer hasn’t discussed her daughter’s issues, but she once described herself as a “mama bear.”

In 2003, Judd married her former bodyguard, D.R. Roach, but three years later, he was arrested for sexual assault of a child under the age of 13. In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Judd said she went into “mama bear mode” with her own kids. “He was out of the house within the hour,” she explained. “I called him everything I could think of. I had a moment where I let it all fly, and then it was done.” The singer filed for divorce days later.

Judd has yet to address Kelley’s troubling string of arrests.
