Yael Grobglas of 'Jane the Virgin' welcomes baby girl, Arielle: 'She is perfect'

"Jane the Virgin" actress Yael Grobglas has welcomed her first baby with partner Artem Kroupenev, she announced in an Instagram post Friday. And she's taking on motherhood with a comedic touch.

"Hello lovelies!" she addressed her followers in the post. "Ok.. I hope I do this right." She wrote she was happy to announce the arrival of the couple's "human-bean," a little girl named Arielle.

She said she and the baby are in good health and added a few more details, joking that "the father's weight is 165,",

"Completely objectively, she is perfect," Grobglas wrote.

And while the new mother, and current "puddle of emotions," wants to share her daughter's every movement, she has decided not to post any photos to protect her little girl's privacy.

"It's not her fault her mom was on TV and she deserves to make that choice for herself," she wrote.

Grobglas received an outpouring of support from colleagues and friends on the post, wishing her congratulations.

"So excited and happy for your growing family! I love you!!!" actress Rosario Dawson commented.

Former Miss USA Alyssa Campanella commented with admiration: "Respect this decision so so much ???????????? Congratulations mama!!!!!! Hope to meet her soon!"

The actress announced her pregnancy at a pre-Emmys party in September with another Instagram post.
