Ever since YBN Nahmir smashed through hip-hop doors by “Rubbin’ off the Pain,” the YBN crew has not slowed down yet. The crew is diverse too. YBN Cordae stands out from the pack, thanks to his lyrical strength and relaxed style of rhyming.
This week, Cordae finds himself “Fighting Temptations” in the new PplCallMeAce-directed video. Walking through a park in his poverty-stricken neighborhood filling his stomach on bag of chips, the young rhymeslinger delivers a slew of aphorisms.
Back in May, Cordae barked at “Old Niggas” on his response to J.Cole’s “1985,” where Cole attempts to teach game to this generation of MCs.
YBN begin as loose group of friends playing Grand Theft Auto online together and freestyling during those sessions. YBN members Almighty Jay, Nahmir, and Cordae are making a name for themselves.
