Was Young Man The Intended Target The Night His Brother Was Shot And Killed?
On the night of April 8, 2018, Ryan says he was hanging out at a house with friends when his older brother, James Kulstad, called the homeowner. Ryan claims the homeowner told him that Ryan’s brother wasn’t welcome at the house – and that if he showed up, he was going to have his “boys” come to the house “strapped.”

Later that night, James drove into the neighborhood and was shot and killed. Ryan says he heard the gunshots and went to hold his brother in his arms as he died.
“You know who shot your brother; why haven’t you told the police?” Dr. Phil asks Ryan in the video above from Monday’s episode.
“If I knew, I would have told them. Give me a polygraph, please,” Ryan says.
