Earlier this month, during one of Cameron’s rants with Sharon on The Young and the Restless, he made a crack about Chance by calling Genoa City’s finest “Detective Dreamy.” Chance had paid Sharon a visit and over talk about Heather’s death, Sharon learned he was still gathering facts — and that it wasn’t set in stone that her death was an accident.

When Chance brought up her confrontations with the Romalottis, Sharon admitted she was wrong to upset them and had apologized to Daniel. However, during it all, she took note that there was some real tension between him and Heather and told Chance that Daniel had mentioned it had to do with the trouble they were having with Lucy, as well as their struggles in finding jobs. And after Chance left, Cameron told Sharon, “You did great. You planted just the right seed to send Detective Dreamy in Daniel’s direction.”
If Grey’s Anatomy can have a Dr. McDreamy in Patrick Dempsey’s Derek, why not give Young & Restless its very own swoon-worthy character?

Michael Graziadei recently shared a mugshot photo of his character alongside Chance and asked, “Let’s vote… Should we change Connor Floyd’s character’s name to Officer McDreamy? Yes or No?”
Floyd had a response and stated the obvious, “I know what Linden Ashby [Cameron] would say,” as Lauralee Bell (Christine) added, “Love it! McDreamy and McSteamy!” And fans agreed… In fact, one, Tobias, thought Graziadei looked “pretty McDreamy” himself, to which the actor replied, “Why thank you kindly.”
