Young Thug Reveals His Father Would Whoop Him For Wearing His Sister’s Clothes

Fact: Young Thug will wear a dress in a minute and will throw all of society’s comments to the wind. But that doesn’t mean everyone in his family was supportive of his fashion forward/gender bending ways.

In a recent interview with Billboard, the Jeffrey artist revealed his father was embarrassed whenever he wore some of his sister’s clothing and would even whoop him for it. “When I was 12, my feet were so small I wore my sisters’ glitter shoes,” he said. “My dad would whoop me: ‘You’re not going to school now, you’ll embarrass us!’ But I never gave a f*ck what people think.”

For his upcoming nuptials to swimwear designer Jerrika Karlae, Thugga said there will be “two brides” at the ceremony, as he doesn’t plan on wearing a traditional tuxedo. Aside from wedding day, Thug is celebrating a major victory. The 25-year-old’s last three projects, Jeffrey, Slime Season 3 and I’m Up debut in the top five on Billboard Rap Album charts this year.

Say what you want about Thug, the people obviously love him.
