Zac Efron Hospitalized After Swimming Accident
Zac Efron was taken to a hospital in Spain Friday night after suffering what a rep called a “minor swimming incident.”
TMZ reported the High School Musical star, now 36, was found inside the pool of a villa in Ibiza by two workers. They then pulled him out of the water.

The report was unclear on what caused his distress or whether he was at risk of drowning.
Efron’s rep told TMZ he was taken to the hospital as a “precautionary measure.”
Efron was reportedly released from the hospital this morning. He was in Europe for the 2024 Paris Olympics, and was spotted attending the opening ceremony on July 26.
He shared a picture posing in front of the Seine river at the time.
