Zach Galifianakis Overstays His Welcome on ‘Late Late Show’

There was a slight misunderstanding when Zach Galifianakis stopped by The Late Late Show With James Corden last week to promote The Lego Batman Movie. Following the interview, James told Zach, “Come by anytime, truly. Any time you want to pop in, pop in anytime.” So Zach took James up on the offer and popped into his office earlier this week.

Even though James told Zach that he was pretty busy, Zach didn’t take the hint. The entire time Zach was there, he was a huge distraction. James had to whisper because Zach slept on the couch. When Zach awoke, he blended margaritas while James made phone calls, used the fax machine in the middle of a pitch meeting, and took bathroom selfies while James was in the shower.

Eventually, James had to tell Zach it was time for him to leave. So Zach packed up his stuff, and some of James’s things, and headed out. But Corden couldn’t stop himself from being cordial, and once again said, “You’re welcome to stop by anytime you want,” and Zach immediately started to unpack his things.

The Late Late Show With James Corden airs weeknights at 12:37 a.m. on CBS.
