Zoe Saldana Clutches Her Oscar in High-Low Saint Laurent Skirt and Strappy Heel for Vanity Fair’s 2025 Oscar After Party
She did it! Zoe Salda?a has reigned supreme this year on the awards circuit. The performer took home the Best Supporting Actress trophy at the Academy Awards on Sunday for her role in “Emilia Perez.” The film had courted multiple controversies amid her run and yet Saldana persevered through it all.
The Oscar winner carried her trophy with her to Vanity Fair’s Oscars after party. There, she wore a thin knit top featuring a a low, scoop neckline and a satin high-low skirt. The front portion of the skirt was shorter, ending at the top of her thighs while the back of the ruffled design dragged on the ground. The Saint Laurent look included a belt. Saldana was styled by Petra Flannery.

For shoes, Saldana wore a pointed-toe style from Saint Laurent. It included a fabric upper with a elongated and pointed-toe. The vamp was lowcut, providing a bit of toe cleavage. The rest of the design appeared to meld a T-strap design with a slingback. The fabric cuts up from the toe box into a t-strap in the middle of the foot, secured with a crystal buckle. The rest of the foot is uncovered.
This is set on a stiletto heel, likely of about four inches.
It was little surprise that Saldana wore Saint Laurent: Saint Laurent Productions was a producer of “Emilia Perez,” as she thanked the company in her acceptance speech. In addition, she’s also one of the faces for the label. As such, she has been wearing the brand for most of her biggest moments for this press tour. That includes when she won the Critics Choice award wearing a pair of red satin La Scandale platform stilettos. She had previously worn the same shoe in black when she picked up her Golden Globe.
Hosted by Conan O’Brien, the 97th Academy Awards took place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on March 2. “Anora” was a major winner of the night, taking home Best Picture and four more awards including Best Director for Sean Baker and Best Actress in a Leading Role for Mikey Madison. Additional winners included Adrien Brody, who won Best Actor in a Leading Role for “The Brutalist”; Zoe Salda?a, who won Best Actress in a Supporting Role for “Emilia Pérez”; and Kieran Culkin, who won Best Actor in Supporting Role for “A Real Pain.” Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo of “Wicked” opened the show with a touching medley of songs.
