We know birthdays are a big deal. For some parents, it’s an insanely huge deal — they throw huge extravagant parties to fete their little ones. The most important part of any birthday party? The cake, according to a new survey conducted for Country Crock. A whopping 82 percent of parents say the cake is most important, and 55 percent make their cakes between 10 p.m. and midnight.
Why do we care about this today? Because today is most popular day of the year to be born. That’s right — more birthdays occur on Sept. 16 than on any other day of the year.
