Looking for New York’s coolest eats in one location? You’ll find them at an art fair, of all places. Frieze New York, returning to the city’s Randall’s Island Park in Manhattan this May, has once again curated a can’t-miss collection of food and drink for visitors.
The new additions this year are Dimes, the tiny restaurant from Alissa Wagner and Sabrina De Sousa with the healthy-but-hearty menu, and Morgenstern’s Finest Ice Cream, the old-school scoop shop with new-school flavors. Parlor Coffee Roasters will be on premises for the first time, too. Chef Chris Bradley, formerly of Untitled and Gramercy Tavern, will helm the restaurant at the Frieze VIP Room. NeueHouse, the membership-only workspace in Manhattan, is hosting the VIP Room restaurant, bar, outdoor patio, and café.
Returning eateries will include:
Court Street Grocers, the eclectic Brooklyn grocery known for its sandwiches;
Frankies Spuntino, the Italian restaurant with outposts in Manhattan and Brooklyn founded by the stars of Being Frank on Vice Munchies;
Marlow & Sons, the Brooklyn restaurant, which will have a seated dining room on site, as well as a grab-and-go counter and bar;
Roberta’s, the Bushwick, Brooklyn, hot spot, which will be on premises offering up its famous pizzas.

Frieze New York 2015 will take place May 14 through 17 with more than 190 art galleries from around the world, plus a series of talks and educational activities. Tickets are now on sale and start at $10 for students. Tickets also are available for transportation to Randall’s Island by bus or ferry.
