This 13-Year-Old's Audition for 'The Voice' Has Coaches and Fans Convinced She'll Win
Season 15 of The Voice hasn't even started yet, but we may have already found the winner. The NBC competition show just released a clip of one of the contestant's auditions and once you watch it, you'll understand.
Thirteen-year-old Kennedy Holmes blew the crowd away with her moving rendition of Adele's "Turning Tables" and all four coaches turned around before she even hit the final note. A four-chair turn is a big deal, but what the coaches said after her jaw-dropping performance is what really caught our interest.
"I think she could win. I really do," veteran Blake Shelton said to Jennifer Hudson as the audience gave Holmes a standing ovation - and fans on Twitter seem to agree.

Once the crowd settled down, Shelton welcomed the young singer to The Voice and asked her name. When she introduced herself and revealed that she was only 13-years-old, the coaches were speechless (except for Kelly Clarkson, who actually screamed).
"I think you're the best vocalist that has auditioned this year," Shelton told Holmes. "Your voice already sounds so seasoned, and accomplished. So much control, so much range." He even called her "the greatest artist of all time" and pleaded with the teenager to choose him as her coach so she could teach him to sing.
Holmes held herself together on stage as they showered her with praise, until it was Hudson's turn to address her performance. She started to cry the moment the new coach began to speak, and tried to explain her emotional reaction: "One of my first performances, I sang 'I Am Changing' and I've dreamed to sing with you-"
But Hudson didn't let her finish. "I'm ready," the American Idol winner interrupted, as she stood up, grabbed a microphone, and stepped on stage.
The duo launched into a beautiful duet of the song Hudson belted out on Dreamgirls. Their performance elicited another eruption of cheers from the crowd, and Clarkson actually started crying.
"After 15 seasons, you really could become the absolute biggest thing to ever come from this show," Adam Levine told Holmes when she turned to him for feedback. He quickly added that she should be on his team, but the singer had all four coaches to choose from.
"I truly love and adore each and every one of you," Holmes began. "But..."
Tune in for the season premiere on Monday, September 24 to find out who this rising star picked to be her coach. We know we'll be watching!
