29th Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival returns to Augusta this week
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Hispanic American Cultural Association of CSRA (ACHA) is hosting its 29th annual Hispanic Heritage Festival at the Augusta Common Sept. 13-14.
With National Hispanic Heritage Month observed Sept. 15 through Oct. 15., many local communities like ACHA are celebrating.
“Our goal is to create a space where everyone can come together to celebrate and learn about the rich and diverse Hispanic cultures,” said Estrella Febus, president of the ACHA. “This festival is a reminder of the importance of unity, especially during Hispanic Heritage Month, and how our traditions enrich the broader American culture.”

There will be food, vendors, musical performances and community resources present. An entire schedule of events can be found here.
General admission is $5 a day and children ages 12 and under are free. VIP passes for both days are available for $75 which include select discounts and access. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the gate during the event.
According to ACHA, this year’s event sponsors include the City of Augusta, SRP Federal Credit Union, AB Beverage and Masters of Clinical Research, Inc.
