4 New Year's Resolutions That'll Save You Money
As one year comes to a close, another one rolls in with new goals on the horizon. How can we aim to make life financially fruitful? Here are four New Year's resolutions that'll save you money.
Say goodbye to your ATM card. This piece of plastic makes it way too easy for us to spend. Take the year to rely solely on cash and checks and become more mindful of your expenses. It may be hard to shred the card, but you'll save more in the end.
Invest in a side hustle. Many of us have some downtime. Use your spare moments to earn extra cash! Whether it's selling crafts on Etsy, driving for Uber, or dog walking, you'll be grateful for a year of additional income.
Make a plan to eat leftovers for lunch at least once a week. Food doesn't always come cheap and daily lunch outings can add up. Save some of your delicious dinner and skip the daily expense. If you're feeling daring, make it twice a week!
Spend the new year making extra mortgage payments! Not only will you get your home paid off that much sooner, but you'll dodge some of that pesky interest. Twelve months is a lot of time to play catch up!
Stick to any of these four resolutions and find yourself ringing in the next year with deeper pockets!
