These 4th of July sales are breaking the internet—from Amazon and Apple to Samsung and Sephora
Yahoo Life is committed to finding you the best products at the best prices. We may receive a share from purchases made via links on this page. Pricing and availability are subject to change.
In addition to barbecues and fireworks, the 4th of July is known for one other equally exciting thing — sales. This weekend is bursting with delicious deals across all categories, from tech to home and everything in-between. There are so many bargains, in fact, that we tapped an expert to help us narrow down the best options.
“Three-day weekends are historically good for sales,” shopping expert Trae Bodge shares with Yahoo Life. “There are a lot of mattress and bedding sales right now,” she adds. “I’m also seeing a decent number of apparel deals – particularly athletic apparel – and beauty deals from smaller beauty brands.”
One category you can’t ignore? According to Trae, now is a great time to take the plunge on a luxury item you’ve been lusting over — in particular, a designer tote.
“I’m not much of a luxury shopper — I’m a penny pincher at my core – but I am seeing a lot of deal activity in the luxury space right now, which is unusual,” she admits. “It could be a good time to invest in a handbag from Coach, Tory Burch or Kate Spade.”
In short? It’s like Black Friday in July — whether you’re looking to score savings on household items or splurge on a new TV, purse or grill. No matter what your budget, you won’t see deals this good until late November.
Keep scrolling for the best 4th of July deals around the web, and check back often as we update through the weekend.
Best TV deals
Amazon’s bestselling TV is more exciting than ever now that it’s on sale for just $130, or $40 off—plus it comes with a free Echo Dot ($50 value) with promo code FTVE20! This Insignia 32-inch Smart HD TV — Fire TV Edition (NS-32DF310NA19) is a mighty little guy that’s just the right size for a bedroom, kid’s room, guest room or even a large kitchen.
And for the price, the bells and whistles are huge — you’ll get Fire TV video streaming and Alexa voice assistant, all built-in. It’s seriously one of the best ways to watch Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, HBO Now, Disney+, CNN, Pluto TV, SlingTV, ESPN+ and more. Can’t find something to watch? Just ask Alexa and she’ll be more than happy to help you out.
“So much better than expected. The picture quality is really, really good. I own a few Fire Sticks and this TV has it built-in and it works excellent,” writes a delighted five-star reviewer. “I'm a semi-cord cutter, so I stream just about everything I watch and all the apps and the connection hold up fine. I have lots of Alexa devices, so having Alexa on another TV is actually turning my home into a modern day Jetsons space.”

Looking for a Mac upgrade? The latest 13.3-inch Apple MacBook Air sports the latest version of MacOS Catalina that keeps it running as smooth as silk. Under the hood, you’ll find 8GB of memory and 256GB of on-board storage. And it features Apple’s newest Magic Keyboard for a better typing experience compared to previous models.
A FaceTime HD camera offers crystal-clear video chatting—and with a battery life of 12 hours per charge it won’t conk out mid-Zoom call. We especially love the TouchID feature for logging in with a fingertip. Say goodbye to long, complicated passwords for good!
“The screen is beautiful. The Magic Keyboard feels very nice and a definite upgrade from the previous butterfly mechanism,” writes an excited five-star reviewer. “And for day-to-day use of browsing, Netflix, Zoom calls and presentations, you’ll most likely never hear the fan nor feel the heat from underneath your keyboard.”

Looking for a great pair of wireless earbuds at an affordable price? Enter the waterproof Edyell Wireless Earbuds, a wallet-friendly pair with impressive audio quality. And right now, they’re on sale for just $30, down from $140 for the 4th of July. Happy birthday, America—here’s nearly 80 percent off!
The Edyell Wireless Earbuds deliver premium audio with sharp clarity and punchy bass, and up to 120 hours of playtime with their included charging case. The charging case can even be used as a power bank to juice up your phone or tablet via USB. Now that’s something Apple AirPods just can’t do.
“These earbuds fit into my ear more securely than AirPods do,” a delighted Amazon shopper writes. “The squishy tip helps the earbud from falling out of your ear and feels overall more comfortable than AirPods. This is the first real alternative to the iPad—and it’s so good it just might convince Apple lovers to switch to Android. It’s on sale for $130, or $34 off at Amazon.
While the Samsung Galaxy Tab A is often compared to the standard 10.2-inch Apple iPad model, it has a few more features and panache to entice old and new customers alike. The slim tablet weighs just 1.3 pounds and boasts 32GB of storage (expandable up to an additional 512GB via microSD card), compared to Apple’s 32GB (without expandability).
“Works perfect! Purchased this to replace an older 8-inch model primarily for on-the-go research, reading apps and video playback for when the littles are around,” shares a satisfied reviewer. “This works wonderfully. Started it up (after charging) and the setup was quick and easy to clone my Samsung account to this new tablet! No issues.”

Although the Bose QC35 II and the Beats Studio3 are solid noise-canceling headphones, you’ll want a dedicated headset to play video games. Here’s why: Bose and Beats headphones can be limited when it comes to delivering in-ear surround sound for immersive experiences.
The Sony PlayStation Gold Wireless Gaming Headset — on sale for $83, or $17 off at Amazon — is ideal because it’s designed specifically for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR. This headset features Sony’s 7.1 virtual surround sound, so you can hear every detail designed into the game, from big explosions to super-quiet whispers.
“The sound is great,” writes a delighted reviewer. “When I was in my party chat with my friends they told me that it sounded like I was talking to them in person instead of through a mic.”

Want to make your home safer? A smart home video doorbell can help. You can snag this Ring Video Doorbell Pro for $189, or $110 off at Amazon. That’s a 37 percent savings and it comes with a free Echo Dot too. Yes, free!
So what’s the difference between the Ring Video Doorbell Pro and the Ring Video Doorbell? The Ring Pro is hardwired to your home’s electrical system, while the standard Ring requires batteries. This smart home doorbell features a full HD video feed with a wide viewing angle that can show all activity in front of your home. The live video feed is accessible to your smartphone, tablet or laptop, so you can see who’s at the door even if you’re running an errand — it even features motion sensor, night vision and two-way talk, so you can speak with wanted and unwanted guests.
“The picture quality was clear, colorful, above and beyond what I expected and installation was super easy. The app works great and itemizes each motion event and doorbell ring in a way that makes it very easy to navigate,” writes a five-star Amazon reviewer.

Best-selling clothing deals
As evidenced above, there are a ton of fashion sales going on this weekend. Don’t worry — if you’re feeling overwhelmed, we put together a list of the best of the best (at least, according to hordes of reviewers). Case in point? This breezy frock. To call it popular would be an understatement — it has nearly 4,000 reviews, and is currently Amazon’s best-selling dress. It has an empire waist, is available in 25 colors and prints—and has pockets!
“I usually avoid shopping online for clothes, but I needed a few new garments really fast for a weekend trip and had no time to go out shopping. This dress caught my eye and I hoped it would be just as described. I was pleasantly surprised,” one shopper shared. “The fabric is so soft and comfortable and the quality is great (just like I bought it from a store)... I like the dress so much that I'll actually hand wash it so that I don't ruin it. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase and dress!”

Summer and grilling go together like peanut butter and jelly, so make sure your grill (and your outdoor space) is up to snuff. This stunning Traeger grill is powered by 100 percent pure hardwood pellets, and a digital controller helps you keep an eye on the doneness of your meats and veggies. The one downside? Whether you’re plagued with allergies or have a pet that never seems to stop shedding, an air purifier can make your home feel so much more comfortable. They’re also notoriously expensive — that is, every other itme of year except this weekend.
While there are plenty of purifiers to scoop up for a steal, our favorite score is the Dyson Pure Cool Link tower purifier fan. It’s the king of air purifiers, thanks to a sleek, bladeless design and a filter that captures even the finest particles (including bacteria, pollen and dander). It’s even equipped for voice control thanks to Alexa. It also rarely goes on sale, so snag it while you can.

Climbing into bed should feel like a dream. But if your sheets are threadbare and your pillows feel flat, it feels closer to a nightmare. Time for a major upgrade.
A good night’s sleep starts with having the right mattress for the job. Casper mattresses are both supportive and cooling, thanks to an innovative support system that uses three zones to properly keep your spine aligned. There’s even firmer foam where you need it, namely under the hips, waist, and lower back.

It’s summer, which means the other big activity we’re excited to partake in — besides grilling, of course — is camping. It’s great if you’re social-distancing, as you don’t have to be near other groups or families to get the most out of your trip, plus it’s an immersive way to see and be a part of nature — even if you’re not far from home.
A must for any camping trip is a great tent, and we found a great one by The North Face marked down at Backcountry. It’s large enough for two people, can easily withstand most weather and features a waterproof fly and floor to ensure you stay dry — even if it’s pouring out.

You wouldn’t drink from a glass of water that’s been sitting on the floor for days — so why should your pet? This Drinkwell pagoda pet fountain circulates 70 ounces of filtered water for your kitty or pup to lap up.
