3. The Mormon church is parting ways with the Boy Scouts
The Boys Scouts has a new name and a new girls-welcome admission policy — but no longer the support of the Mormon church. The church is severing ties with the organization to focus on its own youth program to “help all girls and boys, young women, and young men discover their eternal identity, build character and resilience, develop life skills, and fulfill their divine roles as daughters and sons of God.” Read more >
