6-year-old caught in the act of asking Alexa to do his homework in adorable video
Alexa, should she whoop him now or later?
Yerelyn Cueva, 24, caught her brilliant six-year-old finessing the system on December 20 while he was working on winter break math homework, and how could you stay mad?
Jariel can be heard asking the digital assistant a simple math question, “Alexa, what’s five minus three?” and the Amazon Echo quickly replied with the correct answer of “two.”
However, that’s when his mother burst into the room and busted her boy.

While you may assume Jariel is a bit of cheat, he probably doesn’t see it that way. “It was just any regular day of doing homework,” Cueva told The New York Post. “I’m in the living room, and I overheard him asking Alexa some math problems, and I could not believe it! What you don’t see is after he says, ‘Thank you, Alexa, for helping me with my homework.’”
He’s not cheating! He’s utilizing Alexa as a math tutor. How dare you assume a six-year-old is programmed to do bad things.
Math is actually Jariel’s favorite subject and “he knows his stuff,” according to his mother, but anyone is bound to take the easy route when they’re faced with homework over winter break.
“I’m probably going to have to turn it off so he doesn’t just keep on cheating,” the mother admitted to the outlet.
Despite the mother’s reaction to the cheating, the internet stands behind him as a true innovator.

Some even compared him to Einstein, for it was old Albert who said, “Never memorize something that you can look up.”
Einstein in the making 🤷?♂?

This kid is over here using technology to do his homework and the best we did as kids was spelling out “80085” on a calculator.
