This 96-year-old just clucked her way to win the Iowa State Fair's chicken calling contest

Bonnie Swalwell Eilert out-clucked the 14-person competition to win the Ladies' Chicken Calling Contest, a tradition at the Iowa State Fair. Women from Wall Lake to Ames lined up to give their call twice in Pioneer Hall before Swalwell, 96, of rural Jasper County dressed in a chicken costume and came through to win the blue ribbon.
