ABC Announces 2024 Return Dates for 'American Idol,' 'The Bachelor,' '9-1-1,' 'The Rookie' and More

The Rookie, Abbott Elementary, American Idol, Will Trent

With the Fall 2023-2024 TV schedule finally getting into production, ABC has revealed its plans for the Winter 2024 launch of its schedule, including premiere dates for its dramas, comedies and unscripted shows.

The new programs will begin with the return of The Bachelor, featuring Joey Graziadei on his journey to find his soulmate.

ABC will be sticking with the tried and true for the abbreviated schedule with new series High Potential being pushed back to the 2024-2025 broadcast season.

But fan favorites such as Grey’s Anatomy, Station 19, The Rookie, Abbott Elementary, The Good Doctor, Will Trent, Not Dead Yet and The Connors will be on the schedule, albeit with fewer episodes. Most likely between 10-13. And 9-1-1 will make its ABC debut after being canceled by Fox in May.

And, of course, the singing competition juggernaut American Idol is also on the schedule, launching its search for the next singing sensation on Feb. 18.
