Adam Levine’s New 'Corn Hawk' Hairstyle Is Really Something
Adam Levine stepped out a few days after his former reality series, The Voice, premiered.
He showed off a very, erm, interesting hairstyle that he's calling a "corn hawk."
Adam Levine has moved on from The Voice in many ways.
For one, he’s gotten involved with a new series called Songland that puts the spotlight on up-and-comers in the music industry. He’s also spending more time with his family, wife Behati Prinsloo and kids Dusty Rose and Gio Grace.
But neither of those deviations count as the biggest change to the Maroon 5 frontman’s life since season 17 of his former show premiered without him. No, the difference that has made the most waves is 100% and without question the new hairstyle he just debuted.
May we present what Adam is calling a “corn hawk.” Which is basically a cross between cornrows and a mohawk. That’s not all, though—it appears he’s also dyed/bleached some of his strands a light blonde. Because, why not?
Many of us know the woe of making a bold hairstyle choice following a significant life event (breakup bangs are a thing, okay!?). So naturally, fans on social media had a lot to say along those lines. “What is Adam Levine going through?” and, “Look at your life and then look at your choices" were popular responses.
While we have to agree that it seems Adam is “going through a phase,” it isn’t unlikely for the former reality show coach to sport some bold styles. His clothes on The Voice were often hotly debated, so at least we know he’s staying consistent with his offbeat aesthetic.
Still, we might have to classify this one as a maybe not?
