Aerosmith Announces Farewell Concert Tour Dates
Record-breaking. Boundary-pushing. Grammy-winning. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members.
These words all describe the iconic rock band Aerosmith, who shockingly are celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2023—and heading out on one last final tour.
In a joint statement, Aerosmith shared, “It’s not goodbye it’s PEACE OUT! Get ready and walk this way, you’re going to get the best show of our lives.”
Steven Tyler, Tom Hamilton, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford and John Douglas, will join the 40-city PEACE OUT tour that kicks off in Philadelphia on Sept. 2. They will be joined by special guest The Black Crowes.
The band revealed in a statement that Joey Kramer will not be performing on Aerosmith’s Peace Out Tour: “While Joey Kramer remains a beloved founding member of Aerosmith, he has regrettably made the decision to sit out the currently scheduled touring dates to focus his full attention on his family and health. Joey’s unmistakable and legendary presence behind the drum kit will be sorely missed.”
Aerosmith has sold more than 150 million albums around the world and recorded smash hits such as "Amazing," "Crazy," "Janie's Got A Gun," "Livin' On The Edge," and "Love In An Elevator," among many others.
Tickets go on sale Friday, May 5 at 10 a.m. local time on Ticketmaster.com.
The band announced the tour with a breaking news-style video.
