Aldi Is Selling A Giant 6-Liter Bottle of Prosecco This Winter
Ready yourselves: Aldi is selling a bottle of prosecco this winter that's so big, it won't even be available in stores. The online-only Methuselah of Giotti Spumante Prosecco has a full SIX liters of booze inside. Math is hard, so let's break that down-one of these behemoths is equal to 64 glasses of prosecco or eight standard bottles of wine. Stock up on a few and they'll last you all season.
Obviously, it's not cheap, but for what you're getting, it's still a pretty good deal. One bottle costs $105, which equals around $13 a bottle. Per the bottle's tasting notes, it has "sweet, almost creamy, mouthfeel with flavors of lemon zest, tangerine and pear."
The bad news? This beauty is only available in the U.K., for now (U.K. shoppers-it'll be online starting November 14!). Per an Aldi spokesperson, the six-liter bottle will likely not be coming to the U.S.
However, expect plenty of bubbly, boozy Aldi Finds this coming season. And as usual, Aldi isn't skimping on deals-U.S. stores have some over-sized wine options in stores already, like this under-$10, 1.5-liter Lambrusco. And even better-you can soon get your Aldi groceries delivered. One less thing to stress over during the holidays.
