Aldi Is Slashing the Price on More Than 70 Holiday Essentials

Even though we still have yet to celebrate Halloween, Thanksgiving is still creeping right around the corner, ready to follow up All Hallows Eve with some of the best cooking of the year. Although it might be the turkey’s least favorite day, on this side of the turkey baster, there’s nothing better than getting the family together and showing our appreciation for all that we have in life. In an attempt to help customers spend less and seat more guests this Thanksgiving, Aldi is slashing prices on over 70 holiday essentials. Starting November 1, and lasting the entire holiday season, Aldi shoppers will experience price reductions of up to 50 percent on items across the store. Seasonal items like gravy, potatoes, green beans, cranberries and pumpkin pie, as well as butter and flour will all be part of the big sale.
“Thanksgiving is all about gratitude, and we’re so grateful for our many loyal customers from coast-to-coast,” Dave Rinaldo, President of Aldi stated. “With inflation still looming, we’re providing shoppers extra relief to make the holidays a time for celebration, not stress. What’s served on the Thanksgiving table is just as important as who’s sitting around it, so Aldi is delivering big savings on key items so there’s always room for more guests.”

Just to give you an idea of the actual savings at hand, Chef’s Cupboard French Fried Onions, originally $2.89, will now be $1.79 and Appleton Farms Prosciutto, which was originally $3.69, will now be priced at $2.49. Additionally, baking essentials like Countryside Creamery Salted Pure Irish Butter will go from $3.19 to $2.19, and Stonemill Pure Vanilla will see a whopping $2.40 discount, dropping from $5.89 to $3.49.
Aldi’s belief that Thanksgiving “shouldn’t break the bank and force hosts to make difficult decisions about which quirky cousins or neighbors to invite” is exactly why they have the loyal customer base that they do.
