Allison Holker Boss writes message to her kids after Stephen 'tWitch' Boss' death: 'Here for you every step of the way'
Allison Holker Boss, widow of Stephen "tWitch" Boss, has updated fans on the status of her family in a new Instagram post.
The 35-year-old, who shared Weslie, 14, Zaia, 3, and Maddox, 6, with the late TV DJ, posted a photo of her family on the couch. She captioned the post, “My loves, we are stronger than you could ever imagine. And we will stand strong together as a unit, and find the courage to hold each other up.
Holker Boss added that she will be here for her kids "every step of the way," through the highs and lows, the ups and downs."
“I will protect and I will guide, I will be a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, I will have mom jokes ready for when you need a good laugh," she continued. "The love and light inside our hearts will still shine. I love you forever and always. Mommy."
Boss received lots of love in her comments section, including a note from Ellen DeGeneres, her late spouse's former employer.
“I think about you all every day,” commented the TV host.
Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause added, "You are so incredible. Hope you feel your family wrapped in love from all over the world."
Alyssa Milano wrote Holker Boss was “sending you all the strength and love," while Chelsea Handler called the mother a "shining light."
Boss died by suicide in Dec. 2022.
In a statement obtained by Yahoo Entertainment, Holker Boss wrote, "It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us. Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans."
"To say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt," she continued. "I am certain there won't be a day that goes by that we won't honor his memory. We ask for privacy during this difficult time for myself and especially for our three children."
Holker Boss concluded her statement with a message to her husband, saying, "Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you."
DeGeneres, who brought on Boss as the talk show's resident DJ in 2014, a job he had for the remainder of the show's run, also posted a tribute on social media. The "heartbroken" DeGeneres called him "pure love and light" and said she "loved him with all my heart."
