Alyson Stoner's Essay About Her Sexuality
Former Disney Channel and (praise hands emoji) Step Up (praise hands emoji) star Alyson Stoner shared a powerful essay about falling in love with a woman for the first time.
The 24-year-old actress and singer - whose new single, "When It's Right," dropped on Friday - wrote movingly about her sexuality in an essay for Teen Vogue. While she does not label her sexuality, she says that she is attracted to men, women, and people who don't define themselves in those terms.
She writes about first becoming attracted to a woman. She was a dance instructor, who Alyson met when her friend invited her to a trial dance workshop.
"I was running late and tiptoed to the back as everyone drilled the first move. I skimmed the room to find the instructor," Alyson writes.
