Andy Cohen’s Son Ben Has a Funny Plan for Trash He Found on the Beach & We Can’t Stop Laughing
One man’s trash is a toddler’s treasure, and Andy Cohen’s 4-year-old son Ben just hit the goldmine at a beach. The Bravo TV host shared a new video from vacation with his son, featuring Ben’s hilarious idea for his beloved collection of trash.
“You saved all these bottle caps…that you found on the beach?” Cohen asks his son in the video on Instagram. He’s filming the sand, which is covered in bottle caps. You can see Ben’s hands in the video, as he picks up the caps.

“No, I have to put them in line. Please dad!” he says, as he goes to line up the bottle caps.
“What are you going to do with them?” Cohen asks his son.
“Take them home, I guess!” Ben confidently responds. Um, duh, dad! Why would you leave such priceless possessions at the beach?!
Cohen asks Ben what he will do with the caps at home, and Ben has an answer ready. “Put them on some bottles, I guess,” he says. Again — duh! Bottle caps are for putting on bottles, obviously. Parents can be so dense sometimes, I swear. Luckily, Ben has it all figured out.
After bursting out laughing at his son’s answer (honestly, same), Cohen counters, “You’re not going to put these on bottles.”
“Of course I am,” Ben responds. And we’d like to see you try to stop him! “Well, they’re bottle caps, of course!” Ben adds, as if he’s explaining this to a toddler. The whole interaction is absolutely adorable, ending with Ben finally lining up the caps and demanding his dad take a picture of the finished creation, which includes three blue Corona Extra caps. Clearly, his calculations came up with this brilliant idea.
“This kid cracks me UP ??,” the Watch What Happens Live star captioned the video.
One person commented, “It’s the ‘of course I am’ for me. ??” His confidence is off the charts!
“By his calculations, of course these bottle cap belong on bottles. ??” someone else said. It’s just common sense!
“You can’t argue with the logic??,” another wrote. Someone else praised, “He’s helping to clean the beach. Tell him thanks!!”
Cohen, who is also dad to daughter Lucy, 1, often shares videos of Ben’s quick wit. In one from last summer, Cohen chats with Ben about having a good day at school — and Ben is not here for that, at all.
“You have the power to be a good boy, to be nice to everybody, and to participate today,” Cohen told his son about summer camp. Ben replies from the backseat, “My calculations don’t say that.”
This answer clearly threw Cohen off guard, who responded, “When are you doing your calculating? When are you making these calculations? Can you make a new calculation?”
“No!” he yells in response. When Cohen tries to convince him, Ben just repeats, “My calculations don’t say that.” I mean, you can’t argue with rock-solid logic like that!
Ben certainly knows how to keep his dad on his toes, and we love having a front-row seat to these cute moments.
