Annual Furr Bowl fundraiser event set for April 28
Apr. 17—BEMIDJI — Great River Rescue will hold its annual Furr Bowl fundraiser from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, at Bemidji Bowl, 3455 Laurel Drive N.W.
Participants will have the opportunity to bowl for two hours and enjoy pizza, drinks and prizes, a release said. A raffle will also be held at the event.
Registration costs $400 for a team of six, lane sponsorship (without a team) is $200 and registration to play on a sponsored lane is $40 per person. To register, visit
Attendees and other supporters are also encouraged to start their own crowdfunding page to help reach Great River Rescue's $15,000 fundraising goal. Once registered, participants will be given a fundraising page through Kindful, the release said.
