A flurry of famous faces in film and television hit the red carpet again last night, this time for the Critics Choice Awards in Santa Monica, Calif. Stars brought their sartorial A-game, stepping out in glamorous gowns, chic suits, and of course, stylish footwear. While some opted for sleek pumps, there was no shortage of strappy sandals. “West Side Story” star Ariana DeBose went for a timeless look, slipping into a slinky black gown boasting a plunging neckline and a thigh-high slit and matching stiletto sandals.
As for the evening’s host, Chelsea Handler, the comedian donned a canary yellow dress featuring a corset-style bodice and strong shoulders paired with gold metallic high-heeled sandals.
“Past Lives” star Greta Lee wore a custom Loewe ensemble, a shimmery black two-piece look, and the Spanish luxury brand’s “Petal” stiletto sandals. The black leather style is designed with buckle toe straps and an angular heel.

Angela Bassett also opted for a black color palette for the occasion. The award-winning actress shined in an off-the-shoulder gown featuring glitzy crystal-embellished straps and glossy patent leather sandals set on a thick platform.
Elsewhere on the red carpet, Mandy Moore styled a flashy red Elie Saab cut-out midi dress covered in shimmering sequins with coordinating sandals boasting silky satin uppers.
Also wearing black, Reese Witherspoon modeled a custom strapless Celine dress adorned with a big bow at the waist and black Celine sandals featuring diagonal straps.
Dua Lipa sported a red strapless gown featuring a unique texture, a custom Prada number, with silver metallic high-heel sandals complete with criss-cross straps.
