Ariana Grande Just Posted a Super Long Instagram Story About "Letting Someone Go"
Ariana Grande is on her Sweetener tour right now, but she took a breather to post a cryptic Instagram Story about "letting someone go" on Thursday night.
ICYMI, she and ex-fiancé Pete Davidson broke up five months ago, and now he seems to be dating Kate Beckinsale.
So Ariana Grande's singing "thank u, next" every night on her Sweetener tour, but she maybeeee isn't quite over every single one of her exes yet (which, like, understandable).
Ari went into Khloé Kardashian mode on tour by posting a super long, super emotional quote to Instagram Stories last night with little-to-no context. Because that's apparently what celebs do for fun now.
If you missed it, here's what it said:
“Sometimes, the reason for letting someone go is because they can’t help but hurt you during this phase of their life. When you love someone deeply, you learn what demons live within them and you realize they are hurting you because they are hurting somewhere within themselves. They are fighting a battle within and may not even know it, so they take it out on you and fight you. Decide to let them go, but not because you’re being petty and resentful. You let them go because you really believe that the both of you can find the healing you truly need without being together and hurting each other in the process. Letting someone go doesn’t mean you stop loving and caring about anyone. Letting go means you’re choosing freedom over the illusion of loyalty.”
That's a lot of emotion for a late night Story. Could this be about Pete Davidson, Ari's ex-fiancé? The former couple split only five months ago. Pete seems to have moved on with Kate Beckinsale if their PDA is any hint, but maybe Ariana's still in her feelings about it.
It's all speculation obviously, but what we DO know is that Ariana's phone lock screen of Miley Cyrus (which she also Insta Storied) is the perfect chaser.
