There are few things that feel quite as luxurious as styling your hair with a well-made, beautiful brush. I was recently reminded of that fact when I tried La Bonne Brosse's N. 03 The Essential Soft Hair Brush, a brush Marcia Brady could only have dreamed of.
Every detail of its design is intentional: Handmade in France from a combination of natural boar and synthetic nylon bristles, it's soft and gentle on hair, but also satisfyingly stimulating against the scalp. It also relies on what the brand describes as "a very flexible rubber" to hold the bristles in place, so it gives and bounces gently as you style to prevent damage.

The rest of the glossy enamel brush is actually made from biodegradable cellulose acetate, an organic resin made of cotton flowers and wood beads. It's weighty and durable, but not so heavy that it'll cause rapid arm fatigue. The beautiful, twisty handle isn't just for looks — it's also ergonomic and nestles comfortably in your hand.
