Bebe Rexha has a message for designers who wouldn't dress her: 'You wish you would've dressed my fat ass'
Bebe Rexha stepped onto the 2019 Grammys red carpet on Sunday, her first time at the show as a nominee. And while she looked like a princess, she had a message for the designers who wanted no part in making her feel like one.

“You wish you would’ve dressed my fat ass,” the singer and songwriter told Access Hollywood, a comment apparently directed at the designers who wouldn’t dress her.
Just a few weeks ago, Rexha took to her Instagram to post a video in which she spoke about many in the fashion industry refusing to dress her for the awards ceremony because she is “too big.”

“If a size 6-8 is too big then I don’t know what to tell you. Then I don’t want to wear your f***ing dresses,” she said in the video.
Designer August Getty responded to the post asking Rexha when he should start sketching, and he ultimately designed two dresses for the 29-year-old for events leading up to the Grammys. On the red carpet, however, Rexha wore a red tulle gown with a plunging neckline by Monsoori and looked so good in it.

“I love my body, and I just want other girls to love their bodies,” Rexha told E! on the red carpet, while sharing that Jeremy Scott, Christian Siriano and Karl Lagerfeld had also reached out to the singer with offers to design her a look.
Still, fans are happy that Rexha went with the Monsoori look.
