Ben Affleck Ditches His Beard and Looks Years Younger as a Result

Ben Affleck is rocking a new look—and it instantly sheds years off the actor.

The Air star stepped out with a spring-ready shaven face, ushering in the new season in the best way possible: with a fresh cut. He diverted a bit from his usual, as he regularly sports a full beard and mustache, so it's unclear if the switch-up is due to a possible new role he's filming, or if the change was simply a personal decision.

Along with the clean face, the 51-year-old looked cool, casual and ultra-stylish in the perfectly-coordinated outfit of an olive green button-up shirt worn over a purplish tee, paired with khaki chinos and a burgundy suede shearling jacket. He finished off the fashionable 'fit with a colorful pair of Nike Dunk sneakers, pulling in every hue that he was wearing.

The credits on the photo noted that the Gone Girl actor was out with he and ex-wife Jennifer Garner's son, Samuel, as he can be seen in additional photos seemingly picking up the 12-year-old from school, while gripping a basketball in his hand.

Just days ago, Affleck and Garner's youngest child of three was spotted in a rare public appearance with his famous dad and stepmom Jennifer Lopez, attending the Los Angeles Lakers game on Saturday, March 16, against the Golden State Warriors.

Samuel was decked out in Warriors gear, including a hat and a sweatshirt featuring player Steph Curry's number and last name. He also rocked matching sweatpants and bright green Nike sneakers.

Aside from the grade-schooler, the former couple also share two additional children: daughters Violet Anne, 18, and Seraphina Rose, 15.
