Ben & Jerry's Unveils New Flavors Inspired by Popular Sweet Treats
Ben & Jerry's fans know the satisfaction of picking up a pint of their favorite flavor from the store and enjoying it at home either alone or with friends. The ice cream giant's offerings have included a variety of ingredients and flavors over the years and go far beyond traditional vanilla and chocolate flavors, delivering unique choices for any palate.
Ben & Jerry's is rolling out two new flavors just in time for Valentine's Day. PB S'more is a "riff on the classic campfire dessert," complete with a peanut butter twist, the company said in a statement. Impretzively Fudged, meanwhile, is a "flawless showcase of chocolate and pretzel" that was inspired by chocolate bark.
PB S'more is chock-full of "what are perhaps Ben & Jerry's biggest chunks to date," the company said. "Extra-large pieces of chocolate peanut butter cups are the star in this pint. Its base is a toasted marshmallow ice cream, combined with graham cracker pieces and a marshmallow swirl, to capture the s'more experience."
Ben & Jerry's Flavor Guru José Ure?a expressed his pride in how much work went into the new product.
"We heard our fans' pleas for chocolate peanut butter cups and we were excited to include them in our take on such a nostalgic dessert," Ure?a said of PB S'more. "As we were developing the flavor, we were inspired by an internal team tasting — a 's'moregasbord,' if you will — of all the ways we like to enjoy our own s'mores. The combinations are limitless, but we think fans will enjoy this interpretation."

While PB S'more is designed for the person with a sweet tooth, Impretzively Fudged is perfect for those who like a bit of salt with their sweet.
"Pretzels are having a moment and Ben & Jerry's wanted to find the perfect way to lean into that salty taste in a sweet way," the company said of the flavor. "The saltiness of its decadent pretzel swirls complements its chocolate ice cream base, while its fudge-covered pretzel pieces offer an added sweet crunch." Flavor Guru Natalia Butler offered her own advice to those who want an extra bit of salt on their ice cream: crumble up some potato chips or your favorite salty snack and sprinkle it on top.
