Pat McGrath’s sublime sparkle for Valentino Couture will have you dreaming of spring. Bright shadows in hot pinks and baby blues and high-shine glossy lips paired perfectly with the bold colored gowns that walked down the runway.
Spring looks a lot like winter at Guo Pei’s latest couture show. Models donned snow-covered eyebrows and pale makeup with bright red lips, reminding us all that it is still very much winter.
Erin Parsons, Maybelline Global Makeup Artist, was responsible for the show-stopping beauty looks at Jean Paul Gaultier. Each beauty look perfectly suited the couture fashion. From black and green shadows that matched camo print couture to glitter liners and sparkly earrings, this farewell show was beautiful from head to toe.

Giorgio Armani’s International Makeup Artist, Linda Cantello, crafted a very wearable neutral palette to juxtapose with the colorful clothes in the runway collection. "To bring a hit of modernity, a pop of neon pink was added to the lip for a 3-dimensional enhanced nude," explains Cantello.
Peter Philips, creative and image director for Dior makeup, was behind the bold eyes and natural nude lips at Dior's latest runway show. Philips emphasized the eyes with a double line of graphic eyeliner highlighted in gold. "I drew a double line of black eyeliner like two little 'wings' that were both discreet yet very graphic," explains Philips. "Applied at the corner of the eye, separated by a swipe of gold."
Giambattista Valli's spring 2020 was an open invitation to rest on the laurels of the creative genius' mind. Attendees of the exhibition found the designer's signature tulle gowns in vibrant yellows and pinks paired with custom feather-masks that work only to reveal one's eyes. In hot fuschia, baby pink, and ivory white, the extraordinary eyewear stole the show.
Hairstylist Sam McKnight brought high-shine to the 2020 Chanel spring-summer couture show. The modernized wet hairstyle was seen on Gigi Hadid, Kaia Gerber, and the army of Chanel models in different forms, from slick ponytails to deep side parts.
Alexis Mabille's runway redefined the classic red lip and cat eye. The bold red glitter lip and perfectly winged liner stood out against the models' all-white outfits.
It's all in the details. Models at the show also rocked custom gold and white French manicures.
Medusa must have been on the inspiration board for Iris Van Herpen's runway hair. The snake-like swirls slithered down the runway paired with face and neck masks.
